Health in the Home


Health in the home is a home health service delivered by trained nurses, available to Irish Life Health members, allowing patients to continue certain IV treatments & other therapies in their own home.

How Does Health in the Home Work?

Health in the Home enables you to leave hospital earlier than would otherwise have been the case. You will continue to receive clinical care at home from our homecare team of specialised nurses, who keep your treating hospital team informed of your care. This service is backed up by a 24 hour patient helpline.

Other benefits include removing the stress of staying in hospital, no travel or parking charges for visitors and less impact on daily childcare routine.
